Last season, after troubles on and off the field, Tennessee Titans star, Vince Young was benched in favor of veteran quarterback Kerry Collins. The Titans went on to a league-best 13-3 record without Young and there were rumors that he even considered suicide.

When he sat down with ESPN, the former Texas superstud was contrite, promising to play a backup role if that was what was required of him. The Believability Meter isn't buying it though, and it's no surprise. There have been a number of comments by Vince and others that would suggest if Young doesn't get his time in the pocket, he'll be looking for a way out.
