Analysis

Jamaican track star, Usain Bolt, talks about performance-enhancing drug use on RealSports with Bryant Gumbel. After shattering three world records in Beijing, Bolt was prepared for the incredulity of those familiar with sprinting's soiled record in recent years (See: Marion Jones), but the Believability Meter thinks Bolt is sincere when he says that no one has ever tried to give him steroids. What is interesting to note though, is how Bolt's professed lack of concern for other people's opinion rings hollow with the Believability Meter. Even though Bolt knows he's clean, it may upset him more than he admits that others, including former Olympic gold medalist Carl Lewis, doubt the legitimacy of his accomplishments. Can we trust any athletes these days? Tell us your best time in the 100 meter.
