Senator Lindsey Graham talks about Sonia Sotomayor, Barack Obama's nominee for the Supreme Court. Sotomayor has come under fire for her statement that a "wise Latina woman" would make a better judge than a white man. Graham claims that he does not believe such comments make her a racist.

The Believability Meter does not think that Senator Graham is being totally candid about that. When he promises that the Republicans in the Senate will "listen to what she has to say" the Believability Meter goes right off the charts. Despite his political correctness, Senator Graham seems to have made up his mind on Sonia Sotomayor. But the American people still need to decide if they believe racism can go both ways.
