Analysis

Roman Polanski, world famous director and fugitive, from a 1988 interview discussing his decision to flee the U.S. to escape charges of rape. His alleged victim was a 13 year old girl whose parents foolishly allowed Polanski to take her on a date to Jack Nicholson's house.

Polanski says of his actions: "I don't think anyone got hurt," and the Believability Meter agrees with his rather selfish analysis. Interestingly enough, Polanski then tries to feign some remorse by saying "Later on, I realized [it was wrong]," but the Believability Meter calls his bluff. Do you think Polanksi has paid for his crimes?
