Analysis

After Rafael Nadal lost to Roger Soderling in the quarterfinals of the French Open, the media was probably expecting a tantrum. At the very least, perhaps Nadal would try to blame some injury that no one else had noticed. In a sign that the young and often boisterous Nadal may be maturing a bit, the humbled tennis star seemed to accept defeat gracefully.

According to the Believability Meter, he even meant it. Nadal knew he wasn't playing his best tennis last week, and although it probably hurt to admit it, he just got beat. The real question now is whether Nadal's ego recovers in time to defend his title at Wimbledon from the new French Open champion, Roger Federer. Who is the greatest tennis player of all time?
