Analysis

OJ Simpson pleads his case at a sentencing hearing for his Nevada robbery conviction. Simpson is very emotional, but the Belivability Meter doesn't think he's especially sincere. In the beginning, when Simpson offers apologies and says he's "confused," the Believability Meter says he may be playing dumb to in hopes of getting pity from the judge.

Also note, later in the clip, Simpson says he wasn't there "to hurt anybody," but the Believability Meter thinks he might have had violent intentions. After all, this is OJ Simpson. The former football star has a history of anger problems. Oh yeah, and at least two of the people he brought with him had guns. Do you think jurors were able to give Juice a fair trial considering the controversial 1996 acquittal on murder charges relating to his wife's death?
