Analysis

Michael Jackson's doctor, Conrad Murray, recorded a statement to address the emails and calls he was receiving after the star's death. In it, Murray thanks his supporters for their "kind" words.

The Believability Meter doesn't think they have all been quite so rosy as Murray claims. It is interesting to note that, when Murray says "I have told the truth," presumably about Jackson's death, the Believability Meter stays green. But when he says "The truth will prevail," the Believability Meter goes red.

Perhaps Murray had reason to be pessimistic; he has since been charged with manslaughter in connection with Michael Jackson's death. Do you think Jackson's doctor killed him on purpose?
