Analysis

At the GOP Convention last night, Senator Joe Lieberman had some harsh words about Barack Obama's bipartisan record in the Senate, but watch the Believability Meter when he says that Obama failed to reach across party lines or go against Democratic special interests. Those claims have since been decried by Obama campaign spokespeople as "flat-out lies;" a strong reaction which could be expected in such a close race, but perhaps the campaign has a case to make here. What do you think about Lieberman's speech?

Typical politician, saying what he thinks everyone wants to hear.
