Analysis

Perhaps the most surprising part of this video interview with Laura Bush is her apparent lack of concern for her husband's safety. Then again, maybe not.

When Laura Bush talks about the infamous Iraqi shoe-throwing incident, the Believability Meter thinks that she is genuinely upset about it. But watch when she's asked later if she is worried about George Bush's personal safety in the future. "I'm really not," she says. Again, the Believability Meter says Laura is being genuine.

For the wife of one of the least popular presidents of all time, she is remarkably saguine about it all. Do you  Laura Bush might possibly be as tired of George as the rest of us?
