Analysis

We just love Keith Olbermann.  He is so sincere, you can see it in his eyes; just listen to his voice.  Too bad the Believability Meter can't see anything, and hears what we can't.  Keith does this really well.  We just have to keep reminding ourselves that Keith is an entertainer, and not the intellectual giant he portrays on TV.  There's a big... gulf... between the two.

The idea of truth and falsehood does not really apply to much of what KO is saying because he is being sarcastic through much of it and using innuendo elsewhere.

so what exactly does the meter analyze? I believe that every word KO said was sincere, and passionately stated. I remember this special comment, and I remember how it made me feel, and if the trembling emotion in his voice is being judged as questionable because he expressed horrified outrage -- then all I have to say is that the METER is broken, and I will find it's results in other scoops highly questionable. Could this be why this site has not caught on?
