Analysis

John Rocker was interviewed on the Buck and Kincaid radio show in Atlanta and talks about the Mitchell report and its impact on the game.  Rocker is known as someone who will speak his mind, but his words have also gotten him in some hot water in the past.  Thus as the Believability Meter analyzes this interview, there are spots where a little mustard (sometimes a lot), has been added to various statements.  This is the first of two parts of the interview and part one contains his feelings about still being able to pitch (1:40), that there was not a need to tell anyone about steriods 3-4 years ago (2:30) and also claims that Commissioner Bud Selig knew that Rocker had failed a test but yet did nothing about it (4:05).  That may or may not have been the case and we will let you decide, but his ending comments do not appear sugar-coated.
