Analysis

One of the more famous Nixon speeches where he states that the public has a right to know if their President is a crook.  To the very end he always insisted he was not a crook nor that he obstructed justice.  The fascinating parts in this speech are the statements that he never profited from his time in public office and that he earned everything he has.  Too bad we cannot go back and ask him what he meant!
