The red portion of the Believability Meter gets a workout as both candidates put their spin on the bailout package. Obama tries to blame McCain and deregulation but doesn't really believe this is the main cause. He does believe that he did everything he could to alert people in Washington. McCain's assertion that Obama and "his cronies" are to blame for the financial crisis by encouraging Freddie/Fannie to make bad loans is not believable.

I find it pucked up that the Demmocrats, can say all the mean bull&#@! to the republicans and not once say sorry,we don't really expect them to,but why is it that they can get away with crap like that? AS SOON AS ANYTHING LEAVES THE MOUTH OF JOHN OR SARAH OR SOME OTHER rep.THE DEMOS START CRYING LIKE BIG A BABY!! I wish every time I yell at Obama or other DEMO on TV thats whinning about some dam thing, that they could hear me LOUD and CLEAR!!! they would be crying uncontrollable tears. So if you can't take it don't dish it out....

Yeah, well... at least Don wouldn't have his hands around your throat when he called you a "hockey puck" Since congress can passed deregulation laws, doesn't it make BOTH of them culpable for the current financial mess?

McCain was very condescending to the person who asked the question. Then he seemed to be fishing for an answer. His movements on stage remind me of Don Rickels.
