Analysis

In this video of his final press conference, George W. Bush waxes nostalgic about the mistakes made during his eight-year reign. When Bush talks about Hurricane Katrina he says that he thought about what happened a lot and whether he could have done anything differently. Kanye West doesn't think so (see the "Kanye on Bush" scoop), but the Believability Meter says Bush sincerely regrets what happened in New Orleans and Mississippi.

But then watch when Bush starts talking about Iraq. He claims that not having found the weapons of mass destruction his administration insisted were present was a big disappointment. The Believability Meter says otherwise. Could that be because Bush knew all along those weapons would never be found?
