Analysis

Drew Peterson talks with the Today Show on the one year anniversary of his fourth wife, Stacy's, mysterious disappearance. Peterson, an ex-cop, has been considered a "person of interest" in the case since its outset, but has maintained his innocence. In this interview, Peterson tells Matt Lauer that he has "no reason to believe otherwise," when asked whether he thinks Stacy is still alive, but apparently the Believability Meter does, because it stays red throughout most of his statements.

With a cloud also surrounding the unsolved death (recently ruled a homicide) of Peterson's third wife, one might expect him to keep a low profile, but the man seems to crave limelight. Do you think he's guilty of at least two murders, or should Stacy "show [her]self" as Peterson implores at the end of the video? Tell us what you think.

I wish the reporter would give him a harder time. He has no reason to believe otherwise? he is so sure she ran off with another guy? "Show yourself" is all he can say?!? I am not surprised at all your meter is flashing blood red.
