Analysis

Ken Rogoff of Harvard gives this video interview from Davos Switzerland at the World Economic Forum. Rogoff does not sound optimistic about the prospects for the global economy this year, and at times his predictions about things like unemployment are downright scary.

The Believability Meter says Rogoff means it when he makes those dire predictions, but could it be even worse than he's letting on? Watch the Believability Meter's reaction when Rogoff says "we seem to be heading down the tracks of a typical deep financial crisis." It seems like he might want to call it something else. Depression maybe? How has the financial crisis affected you?
