Congressman Eric Cantor, House Minority Whip, fields questions about the bloated stimulus bills, spending plans, and budgets coming from the Obama White House and Congress. When asked why Republicans don't just swear off earmarks altogether, Cantor claims to be "in with that thinking."

But apparently somebody should have told the Believability Meter because when Cantor makes that claim, it spikes red immediately. No doubt Cantor, for all of his bluster, has some pet projects of his own he wants to bring back to the voters in his district courtesy of your tax dollars. Why won't the politicians just let us keep our money?
