Brett Favre denies allegations that he sabotaged his former team, the Green Bay Packers, before their recent game against the Detroit Lions. Without actually admitting anything, Favre vacillates between claims that he didn't tell Lions head coach, Rod Marinelli, how to "win the game," and a justification that whatever he did "happens every day." In any case, the Believability Meter smells a rat, and Favre's insistence that "there's nothing wrong with that" shows red and rings hollow. Viewers are left to wonder who Favre is really trying to convince here; his former teammates, the media, or himself. Is Brett Favre one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, or a selfish prima donna? Tell us what you think.

Another, "It's all about me" professional athlete. Why do so many of us hold these guys up as heroes?!?!

I think more than anything, it shows that he's not really meshing with the Jets off the field like he probably assumed he would. He's the new guy on that team, and he's one of the most famous names in football. He should've expected rumors, so even though he openly addmitted talking to the coach, did he honestly think noone would bring up the idea of him sabatoging the Packers?? and c'mon, if that was his intent, did he REALLY think that the lions, of all teams, were a threat to Green Bay??
