Analysis

Former president, Bill Clinton, tells Larry King that he does not believe Jimmy Carter was correct that much of the opposition to President Obama's health care plan is racially motivated. Clinton says that "If [Obama] were white, every single person that's opposing him now would be opposing him then."

The Believability Meter is not so sure. Clinton may be saying all the right things here about conservatives, but the former president clearly believes race is a major factor in the health care debate. Of course, the people who keep mentioning race are the ones who support President Obama, which makes it hard to know who's more obsessed with the color of his skin, liberals or conservatives. What do you think?
