Ashley Dupre, the former prostitute and mistress of New York Governor, Eliot Spitzer, talks for the first time in a televised interview with Diane Sawyer on 20/20. Dupre seems to be overwhelmed by the scandal in which she has found herself, but the Believability Meter doesn't think she's telling the whole truth in this interview video. Dupre's claim that the first time she discovered her client's identity was when she saw him on television, along with other claims of total anonymity between them, seems questionable to the Believability Meter. Perhaps that's because it's likely a well known politician, like Eliot Spitzer, might have actually enjoyed talking about how important he was, and perhaps it's even more likely that a young girl trading sex for money would have found a sudden proximity to power extremely intoxicating. That is until the scandal blew up in her face on national television. Should we feel sorry for Ashley Dupre? And if so, what about Eliot Spitzer?
