Alan Mulally does his best to convince viewers in this promotional video clip that Ford doesn't really need the money they are begging Congress for, and barring some unforeseen circumstances, Ford will be just fine. The main problem with that statement being the Believability Meter, which remains unconvinced by Mulally's sunny outlook. It seems the Mulally might be somewhat less than candid here, and perhaps Ford is in bigger trouble than they are letting on. If he really didn't need the money, do you think Mulally would have driven all the way from Michigan to Washington D.C. in a Ford Escape just to ask for it? Let us know.
